Christopher Williams, B. Comm., CMA, FICB (Hons) - Chief Financial Officer & Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Christopher Williams was born and raised in Antigua. He joined the staff of CUB in 2006 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) after fulfilling a similar role at Global Bank of Commerce where he worked for seven years. Chris has held a variety of positions with different companies including Antigua Public Utilities Authority (Management Accountant – 1998-1999), Price Waterhouse/Coopers (Senior Accountant/Information Technology Consultant – 1994-1997), McCarthy Tétrault (Accounting Supervisor – 1993-1994), Gallop & Gallop Advertising Inc. (Assistant Controller – 1991-1993).
Chris received a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting) from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1987 and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario, Canada in 1991. He is also a Certified Management Consultant.
Mr. Williams holds a Programming Diploma from the Institute of Computer Studies, Toronto, Ontario. He has pursued studies with the Institute of Canadian Bankers leading to the Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) designation.
Mr. Williams served on the Board of Directors of Caribbean Union Bank as Deputy Chairman in 2006-2007.
