Clement Bird Friars Hill Road St. John’s Antigua
Mr. Clement Bird is Principal of The Bird Law Firm, founded in 2005 after several years of his having practiced at both the public and private bar.
Mr. Bird was educated at the University of the West Indies and the Norman Manley Law School. He is a member of the Antigua Bar, and a Notary Public.
He has been an Attorney-at-law since 1989. He served as a Crown Counsel within the Antigua and Barbuda Attorney General's Chambers from 1989 to 1995, and has engaged in private practice thereafter, with a focus on corporate and commercial law and litigation, and offshore services.
Mr. Bird is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Antiguan Financial Sector Regulatory Commission; the Committee's main focus being the strategic projection and enhancement of Antigua and Barbuda's position in the International Business and Financial Services sector.
He has served as Counsel for the Antigua Offshore Gaming Association, the affiliation of Internet based sports books and Casinos licensed in Antigua and Barbuda since 1998.
Mr. Bird has also served as a member of the Public Service Commission and is a Charter member of the Kiwanis Club of St. John's, Antigua.
